Should I retake my TEAS?

Published

Hi all, I recently took my TEAS exam and received an overall score of 90.7% on my first try. I got 100% science, 91.2% math, 84.8% english, 82.1% on reading. I'm aiming to get into several CSUs, namely SJSU, SFSU, SDSU, and a few others. I know this is a good score, but I also know how competitive California nursing schools are. Should I retake it or would it just be a waste of time and money?

We got the same score that's crazy

I got into 5 out of 7 ADN programs I applied to with that exact score. I don't think there were any schools that didn't award full points in their admissions criteria for a score that was 90% or above; the upper limit at most was 85%.

I think traditional BSNs are more concerned with overall GPA. Your score is in the 99th percentile, so statistically, you're indistinguishable from anyone who scored higher.
