Should I renew?

So I have resigned from my job in order to raise our new baby and to work on my Master's. My question is this: Does anyone know if I need to keep my up during this time? I am not expecting anything to come up, but if a suit did appear and my malpractice insurance was lapsed, would it not cover me anymore?

I am going to contact them and see what they say, just wondering if anyone knows off the top of their head.

Thanks :)

depends on your policy. If you have to be current in order for them to pay for PAST events then you need to keep it. If that is not an issue, then you might consider dropping it. Just be sure you don't do any nursing to friends and family during the time you are not covered.

Will you need it when you're working on your masters? It's probably in your best interest to renew it IMO. Congrats on baby :)

I sent NSO an email to change my work status and asked them about coverage while I am not working. I think I might just renew it anyway since it really isn't that expensive.
