Should I give nursing one more chance?

Published

Fellow nurses,

If this posted twice I am sorry. In a nutshell I need some advice.

I am trying to decide whether or not to give nursing one more chance or go for the gusto, and become a high school biology teacher. I love teaching, but it just doesn't make the money nursing does. I had horrible experiences as a new grad. I just don't believe in my self and my skills anymore. Could working in a small hospital make all the difference. I am considering moving to Llano to be close to my parents. All my nursing experiences were in Austin. Thanks for your suggestions.

"How long did it take the fingerprint cards to reach you?" Requested this online April 29th and still have not received.

I would suggest that you go to your local police department, pay the $5 per card and have 2 fingerprint cards made right then and there,a nd then mail them into the BNE. The company they send you to when you apply online is aweful. It took them about 45 days to get my fingerprints to me... by then I had already sent in a set from my local police. Wish I had gone to them first and not bothered with the company the BNE recommended.

Do you realize the person you are replying to posted in 2004? She hasn't posted anywhere since 2005.
