Hi!
Over the summer I did an externship in a well known hospital in my state and I know that some externships offer nursing assistant jobs during the school year but this one did not. I am currently working in a nursing home but not as a CNA but I was wondering if I should still try to work in a hospital my last year of nursing school. I tried applying for multiple hospitals but my externship coincided with most orientations so I was unable to get a job. My main concern is getting my foot in the door but is an externship enough to do so? I'm not sure if I can even get a CNA job this late since I am graduating May 2017
-Thanks!!
