Hi All!!,

I am new to allnurses.com and figured with this big life change I wanted some help from people all over. I am of course looking to become a CRNA I have a real passion for the art. I just want to know if I should make the big change and jump into pursuing the career. My profile goes as this:

Undergrad - BSN from William Paterson graduated 2nd in my class with a GPA of 3.8

Clinical Exp - ER expierence, but am looking to change jobs to a CVICU ASAP 9I am looking to apply in 2 or 3 years)

Other Info - My science grades have been pretty solid B+ and A's for all of them (Screwed up when I was younger in AP2 got an F but retook and got A). Since then all sciences have been A's. I am afraid that my past will haunt.

Looking to apply to Columbia and UMDNJ. Any advice would be great, will my past be a haunter or you think they might look past my early mistakes.

Thank You So Much ALL!!

Chuck I think it looks great, esp as you retook your class. keep getting A's in anything u get and get ur experience and you will b fine.

Just get the experience and applied. You never know. If this is your dream, you must try. As soon as you get at least one year of experience, start the application process.
