Shoreline Nursing application Spring 2022

Published

Hello, I am looking to apply to shoreline community college, my points are 102.8 but I volunteer for hospitality in a church. I am hoping it will give me 3 to 4 more points. It's anyone else applying?

How are you doing with the vaccinations, I heard we're supposed to upload everything by the 9th of March. I tried to ask the coordinator but I haven't heard back from her yet

Hi I got accepted too!! I'm a bit worried about my vaccinations because I don't have all my results back yet and none of the ones I uploaded have been verified on Immunitrax so far. Have you heard anything back from her?

How are you guys doing with the first quarter? I'm starting in Fall and already so anxious.

Hi trngttn,

It's hectic but you just have to be proactive. It's easy to fall behind. But fall is the  longest quarter so you'll have more time than we do.

We're doing better than the first few weeks where we got overloaded with RN info. There's a lot of things to do and it's easy to lose track of deadlines so very important to use a calendar for due dates! It's fun! Lots of skills we're learning both in lecture and lab times to apply to clinicals. ?

Thanks for the reply. Do you mind to let me know which books we have to use the first quarters?

Hey,

I would like to know how people earned at least 100 points. I recently discovered that that there was a minimum to even be considered for the program.

Thanks!

There is no minimum to be considered, they just take the people with the 32 highest point totals. This varies from quarter to quarter and Fall usually ends up being the highest. The minimum for my cohort was above 105, but I have seen lower recently.  Just try to get points in every section that you can such as volunteering and retake classes for higher grades if you can.
