Kristina13,
I have applied to Shoreline as well for winter 2013. Did you factor in the bonus points that you will receive for the 2 college courses for your overall total? I have the exact same number of points as you before factoring in the 4 bonus points. I recently found out that I was accepted into the program at NSCC but Shoreline has always been my first choice. I guess we will know by the end of November. Good luck to you.
Congratulations! It is hard to tell someone how to prepare in advance because the workload is a shock in the beginning. My tips are: don't read every single page of your reading-skim for the necessary info towards the outcomes, pair up with a group and split outcomes up between you, get a day planner and put everything in it.....study time, work out time, grocery shopping, class, due dates for each assignment...etc. organization is key to staying on track. I save money by buying the previous edition books for class too. The first year is the most intense, then it let's off. Also, always act professional during clinicals, you never know who may be watching and you may want a job there one day :) good luck!
Congratulations! I applied for Fall 2014 and I'm discouraged that the minimum points for admission to Winter 2013 were 104.25. It doesn't seem possible to get over 104 points unless you have extensive volunteer hours and/or EMT/LPN experience. Is this an average? I didn't see anything on the "Calculate Your Own Points" sheet that showed fractional points. Oh well, all I can do now is to wait.

Hello!
I applied to Shoreline's RN program with a point tally of 101.6, just curious if any other applicants are out there and what their points are; and if any current or past students have any insight as to what the general acceptance points are for the program - I have heard varied information, thanks!
