Hey, we Marylanders are here, just may not be able to help you out. One of the graduate students at my school, who is also a TA for our simulation labs, works there. If I see her I will ask if they are hiring. Also they list their open positions on the Univ. of MD medical center website:

As far as I know she loves it there. She's working on her Acute Care NP right now.

I know several folks who work there. Very high turnover, especially since UMMS took over, but the people of course are obviously very good at what they do. It IS one of the highest rated shock trauma centers in the world.

In case anyone's interested, for the next three Sundays in a row, 'The Critical Hour' on Discovery Health will feature Shock Trauma. I saw this on a poster at my school.
