Shift differentials/benefits for PCA/PSA at Nationwide Children's?

Hey everyone,

I currently have a job with OhioHealth and am being offered a position at Nationwide Children's. My current role is PSA/PCA but once I'm finished with nursing school I plan to apply within the hospital I'm working at. I guess you could say I'm looking for the pros/cons of both OhioHealth hospitals and Nationwide Children's. I heard the starting pay is less at Children's. I do know that for my current role the position is $11.27/hr. Does anyone know what their weekend and night differential is for my position? Also when asked it seems like the only educational opportunities they offer are their tuition reimbursement, limited at $3500 a year, whereas OhioHealth will actually pay for your education 100% to continue your education and obtain higher degrees. It seems that OhioHealth has more to offer, although their base pay is slightly lower at 11.24/hr for my position, but they offer 3.30 shift differential which could be more than Children's depending on their differential. If anyone has any info on pay/benefits for Children's I'd appreciate it.

Childrens is on a hiring freeze right now. Even PCAs who have worked there have not been getting offers to work as RNs. I hope you took the job with OhioHealth!
