I signed up to take Sherri Taylor's workshop on January 11,2011 and was checking to see if anyone

else was going to Atlanta on this date?

Not there yet either but also the one I will be taking so let us know how it went. Talked to a nurse at work yesterday that went through Excelsior and took Sherri's workshop and said if she had not taken it she doesn't think she would have passed. She was the first one done and passed everything first time and she said all because she took Sherri's workshop!! :lvan:

@ Cathy- that's awesome to hear! Since I haven't been working I'm not around any other nurses...just housewives (nothing wrong with that either) but i sure miss talking to co workers...most of the army wives around here do not work or have not gone to college, or are just starting college...they look at me weird when i tell them i'm a nurse and furthering my education as if to say 'why aren't you working you make more $ than you husband does as a soldier" lmao...oh well...it's nice to get on here and talk to others!

Tasha - I took report from her for a pt I was getting and everyone told me she had done Excelsior last year so I decide what the heck just ask!! She just kept saying over and over if I had not taken that workshop I really don't think I would have passed. Also told me that 3 of them went through Excelsior together and 2 of them took Sherri's workshop but the 3rd said she was a nurse and didn't need to waste her money - they passed and she didn't! She went back took the workshop they did and passed the next time. I know lots have passed without the workshop but I just feel I need it to calm my nerves more than anything!! :[anb]:

very true! i talked to my advisor at EC today and i need to be FINISHED with everything by the end of april (including my CPNE) so gonna look at the dates she has availible and sometime in Jan get registered for one! I think i'll drive from KY there for it! =)
