Anyone out there anxious for the end June to get here like I am!!! I can't wait to see if I am accepted into SSCC RN program.I turned in my work experience now my application is officially completed. I was a lil disappointed yesterday cause I thought I had 206 points originally it turns out I only have 198 points not even 200 points!! idk how I calculated 8 extra points in!! So NOW I am nervous!!!
I would talk to the enrollment people or your advisor because that doesn't sound like something just through the university of Alabama. I know I had like a merit scholarship through the university which is why I couldn't transfer. But I know some of my government funding wasn't accepted by Shelton.
No. I only had a 3.2 GPA and I was a came as a transfer so I never stood a chance. That's why I left to apply elsewhere. I will go back for my BSN/MSN after I get my RN at Shelton. it won't take me as long because I'm done with almost all of the core. I will just have to do the clinicals and and remaining nursing courses.
Hello ladies. My wife and I are both wanting to go to the Shelton nursing program. My wife wants to start Spring 2016 LPN first and then RN and I want to start Fall 2017 RN. Anyway, we would like to know what current nursing students think of the program. Are the instructors helpful? Is the program material difficult because of the amount of material or the material itself? How do clinicals work? I noticed that the hours are from 0630-1530, does that mean clinicals are all day? Is it common for nurses to have a job waiting when they get out? Also, she currently only has 123 points for the LPN program though she is retaking English 101 at Wallace online to try and replace the C she got in English 110 with an A or B. We have so many questions its ridiculous!
