Shelton State Community College Spring 2017

Published

Hey! Has anyone else applied to the upcoming spring semester? How do you feel like you did and when do you think we'll find out? Current nurses are encouraged to respond too with advice!!

That's awesome! I'm looking out for mine today!

Looking forward to meeting you!

I guess I didn't get in because I still haven't received a letter. I though you get a letter even if you don't get accepted, though.

Do you live here in Tuscaloosa? It may take a little longer if not

I live in northport so I figured it wouldn't take too long to get a letter. I bet they send acceptance and denial letters at different times so I probably just didn't get in. I'll know something for sure in the next few days

I live in Northport too, but I'm hoping you get a letter. You can always call and ask them if you're unsure or if you don't get a letter soon.

I got in at shelton! I live in Tuscaloosa as well. I got my letter last week. I'm not sure if I will be accepting my spot because I'm waiting on acceptance to one more school. Hopefully there is a waiting list so that people can get the spots that others aren't going to accept!

Does anyone know what the Health Essentials form looks like? I have the Response Letter of Acceptance, the Packet Information, a sheet about CPR, the medical uniforms sheet, the NSNA application, and the two sheets about registration, drug screen, and uniforms.

Do you know if we need to buy a stethoscope, or if they come in the Nursing pac?

I'm not 100% sure, I think our stethoscope and stuff have to be bought from a medical supplies store! I'll ask my roommate though, she just graduated from the program!!
