Does anyone have experience with getting an email asking about references (after interview)? Has anyone ever heard of an applicant getting asked references and then NOT getting offered the job?

Has anyone ever heard back from Sharp Chula Vista? Also... for those who have gotten an interview did you have prior experience as a PCA/PCT or are currently working? I tried emailing them back but haven't heard back.
