Sharp New Grad Residency October/November 2023

Just wanted to start a thread for next cohort. Where have you guys applied? I applied to MICU at grossmont and float pool in chula

Hello, I actually got that RN experience from AFTER they gave me an offer on the phone & email first (for new grads all the starting wages are the same)! so I think the process is slightly different with different Sharp locations. I got an offer from Sharp Chula Vista!

Do you know of anyone who's gotten that form and never ended up getting an offer? They still haven't called me but sent me the form on Monday.

I would say wait for 1.5 weeks at least for a call - that's how long it took for them to give me an offer after interview. That form is to check if you are eligible for new grads, so if you have zero to less than 6 months experience then you should be good. I don't think they would waste time sending out form if they didn't consider you as a good candidate for position ? that's just what I think tho, I hope you get the job ! Good luck ?

I interview on the 25th and still haven't heard back. But it still says I'm under consideration. How long did it take to hear back and what units did you guys apply to

So far it seems like Grossmont has been giving offers (?) Has anyone heard from Chula?

Hey! Chula gave offers 10 days ago to different PCU units.

Ah gotcha! Yes it's probably different for each location then! I got the form on Friday but no offer yet. Congrats on your offer!!

Which location/unit? Just to update, I had my interview on Monday the 31st, received the reference request that same day, then the experience form the following Monday and a verbal offer that Friday! Has anyone received a written offer yet and if so how long did it take after verbal?

OMG that's so exciting! I interviewed for 5E at Grossmont... I'm hoping they'll get back to me by the end of the week since they sent me the RN experience form on Friday... But I'm nervous about not getting an offer!

So exciting!! I know the waiting is so hard, BUT I'm almost positive getting that form means that you're getting an offer as long as you have worked for less than 6 months!
