Shame on me

:nono: I have had two DWI's. I am not a bad person, just made stupid dicisions. I am soon applying to the nursing program. If all goes well, when Im done the incedent will be five years behind me. I have called the Board of Nurses to see if I will be able to get my Nursing License, the answer was yes. Just want to know if anyone has heard or known of others in my same situation, and if it will effect my job placement?

There have been many posts here about that very same subject. Yes, this is a common thing to happen. Whether or not it might affect job placement will depend on how the BON grants your license. Do a search here and you'll see a wealth of info.
