I wasn't sure if I should have posted this in the New York thread, so I'm totally sorry if this is in the wrong area!!
This may be a long shot, but I was wondering if there were any nurse managers from any New York Presbyterian hospital willing to let a student nurse shadow them for a total of 40 hours? It can range from 4 hours a week, 8, or even 12 - whatever is convenient! This is specifically for my leadership class, which I have a choice to be placed in a hospital or look for a nurse manager myself; and I'm truly hoping to be able to choose the latter. I am currently in an ABSN program in Long Island University in Brooklyn, just shy of being halfway through the program.
Otherwise, do you guys have any advice on how I can find a nurse manager to shadow? Especially in NYC?
Thanks so much!

If I were in your shoes I would start contacting HR/nursing recruitment at the facilities where you want to shadow.
