Shadow day- after interview

Hello Everyone ,

I am a new nurse, had interview couple of days ago , after my interview nurse manager ask me to come for shadow day for couple of hours .I completed my shadow hours and she said I should follow with nurse recruiter after some days. I also send a thank you note to nurse manager .Any idea how long should I need to wait before another follow up email:). Is shadowing a good sign ????Do you have any experience like this in the past ? I would love to read your experiences .
