SFSU ELMSN 2021 Application

Published

Hi there!

I am currently applying for the SFSU ELMSN program and wondering if there is anyone else on here applying? Didn't see a thread for it so figured I would start one.

Congratulations! I’m also on the waitlist. Hopefully people make their decisions soon so we can move up!

Congrats yourself! I know I hope we make it!  Did you see where you’re at on the waitlist?

Ya I’m low I’m # 15 so I doubt I’ll make it in unfortunately. I did turn my SMU ABSN application in for fall so hopefully I hear from them!

You probably got accepted! It would say “Waitlist notice” or something. But if it says you’re recommended to the nursing program then you’re in!

Oh OK thank you! It does say recommendation, which is why I was confused ? I guess now I can celebrate haha.

Best of luck to you & everyone else, I wish we could all be in it! ❤️It says the deadline is May 1 so hopefully you all see some waitlist movement by then ?

I’m also on the waitlist ? does anyone know what the deadline to accept or decline a acceptance is?

Hey it's been awhile since this forum has been updated so I'm just checking in for waitlist status. Does anyone know how far they have gone down the waitlist? Last time I heard, it went down to #7.

Hey, I accepted SFSU's offer but have since decided to attend another school. I informed Grad Studies and they told me to not register for any classes because there's no way for the school to rescind my initial decision. So, if you're on the waitlist, stay on the waitlist. A spot may open up towards July/August when the SON sees that I have not registered for any classes. Orientation is August 2, btw! Good luck!

Hi everyone,

I declined my offer to attend SFSU. Don’t lose hope and stay on the waitlist! Good luck!

Hello. To everyone who was on the waitlist for this program and still kept around for updates until it started; I would like to say that we are all worthy to become nurses. It may not have worked out for this program, but there is still plenty of opportunities. I wish you all the best in where you will apply next. I can't wait to see if I bump into any of you in the next application cycle. Stay resilient.

Hi everyone! I was wondering if any of you in the program right now can share your experience as an ELMSN student in regards to didactics, clinicals, faculty, etc. I won't hear a decision until April, but I got accepted into Columbia's MDE program and wanted to hear to pros and cons of the ELMSN program. Thanks in advanced!
