Hi Guys.  

My interview is for tomorrow, march 17th.  

Anybody know how many people they interview?

My undergrad GPA :3.56

Prerequisite Science GPA: 4.0

TEAS: 90%

I am fluent in Spanish and have been a CNA for 7 months, also volunteered but not for very long because of COVID.  Under 120 hours, so pretty useless for my application unfortunately.

Clearly it is just as competitive as they say to get in if everyone has stats like you guys do. We're all worthy, I wish they had more space...Good luck to everyone on their interviews.  If anyone has any advice please help.  Does anyone have an interview after me?  I am happy to give advice after mine but it seems everyone has gone yesterday or today already.  I wonder if it's bad to go last.

UGH so nervous.

@bleepblop Yes, we are all worthy! We all have worked so hard to get to where we are now. Thank you for that reminder. I've been so anxious all day. My interview is tomorrow at 11:45am PST. I can also share my interview experience for anyone interested.

Anyone who has already had an interview able to share some insights? Much appreciated!

Thanks for posting all your details. And congratulations to all those who got accepted into the program. I haven't received anything from them. My grades are all good but my TEAS are not impressive. But incase I have to prepare for future interviews. Will you guys share some here? I'm wondering if SFSU sends out email of status updates to those who are not admitted as well. because I see no updates in my student account. It's still saying they are verifying.

Hi all! I just had my interview, it was literally the 10 minutes that they said and you do still have time to ask them questions at the end for the remainder of the time. It's not a group interview so you have the whole 10 minutes to yourself. I can't say much about the questions but I think they are looking more at how you answer them. 

I could've done better but I don't want to beat myself up about it. I hope this helps those with later times! ?

Just had mine as well.  I think it went well! There were 4 people and they were all super nice.  The questions they asked me were situational ones, and only 2 questions then they asked if I had questions.  Take your time answering, make sure your answer shows why you are the right personality for nursing and that you have qualities SFState is looking for! Do your best to speak calmly and it's totally OK to think for a second.  It makes you seem more real, I think

 But, if I don't get in, disregard all my advice LOL. GOOD LUCK GUYS

Just had my interview. Phew! What a relief. They only asked two behavioral questions about what would you do in a certain situation. I took my time thinking and then answered as best I could. I probably was speaking too fast but oh well, I think my answers were pretty good. Breathe, pause when you need to, and just be yourself. Smile and make sure to look at the camera (and not just yourself) to make eye contact with them.

Same! I had two behavioral questions about myself and then asked a few questions and that was it. Did anyone ask when we could expect to hear back by? Not sure what percent of the people who got interviews get accepted but hopefully we all get in!

So they said "you'll hear from us soon" and also early April to mid April.  Sooo I hope, yes or no, that they tell me soon cause this is stressful haha.
