Published

has anyone taken the TEAS yet?! I’m taking my first teas February 22nd and im beyond nervous! Using the paid version of the pocket prep to take 100 questions almost everyday.

I also created a Facebook group as well if anyone wants to join. Just search for Sentara BSN 2020 applicants

Did they say anything about when decisions are going out? Odd that some got confirmations and some didn’t. Ty did respond and say I should have received a conformation back on the 20th of last month but I checked my email again and nothing on that date. I only got TEAS confirmation as well.

Just the 2-3 weeks they told everyone, I had called a few days before the 28th. Did he say everyone got a confirmation email??

This is what they just emailed me back saying, “We are in the process of reviewing applications as we speak. If we need any additional information from you, we will be in contact. Decisions will be emailed to all applicants, hopefully by the end of next week.”

UGH another week of waiting

Ugh. That sucks.

Hi guys!  I know how brutal the wait is, I did it last year!  I'm in the class of 2022.  We got emails and heads up, they do NOT all release at one time so some may find out hours before you do.
I saw something in a post about a FB group, we all started out here, then started one after getting our acceptance letters.  Some of the upperclassmen joined to give us advice because you will have TONS of questions!  That was suggested to us and I wanted to come and give you the same advice.  It's also been super helpful for our current class to reach out to each other when needed and make friends with each other.

Good luck to you all!  Feel free to reach out with any questions, I will try to help if I can.

Thank you sooo much! Congratulations on being accepted and getting through all this during COVID! Would you be able to provide any insight on the schedule? I wasn’t sure if they’re trying to maintain what they’ve had the previous classes or not!

thank you again!

thank you again!

Sure!  Last semester we had health assessment lecture and lab on Monday.  My lab was at 8am and lecture 11:30-1:30.  Labs were offered at either 2 or 3 other times and there was another lecture.  Foundations was Tuesday from 0830-1130.  Patho Wednesday 9-11.  Clinicals were either Thur or Friday.  I have no idea what it will look like come January with COVID. Since Sentara is a hybrid program to start with, going online last March wasn't nearly as bad as it was for some other programs I have heard about.  Not that it was fun by any means, but the professors have been amazing, trying to help us where they can.

Any advice you feel would be super helpful in the case of acceptance? anything you wish you did or didn’t do?

Hey guys! I've applied for the January 2021 start term. I still haven't heard anything back about admissions decisions. I was wondering if those of you that have applied live in the area near the school or are planning to relocate there if accepted? I live in Northern Virginia and I am trying to decide if I will be able to handle relocating to the area to go to Sentara if accepted.
