Sending placentas to pathology

Does your hospital routinely send placentas to pathology? If so what is the size of your hospital and turn around time on getting a report back on the placenta? Thank you in advance!

Routinely? No. Only if there is a reason. I'm not sure, honestly, because I'm not generally the one to seek out and read the path report, the OB provider is. I would guess 2-4 days
