I applied still waiting to hear back!

I applied, I talked to my advisor for Seminole State and she said decisions should be out by this Friday! Fingers crossed ? ??

hey guys, I'm applying for the concurrent program as well. I'm hoping that they accept at least all category 1 students ?

Same here, but I heard from both of my advisors (Seminole State & UCF) that this semester was extremely competitive. I'm a Category 1 as well but I honestly don't know what to expect. Friday needs to hurry up LOL

dang that's scary news. I wonder how many people applied. of course the semester im ready to apply is the semester that is extremely competitive ?‍♂️im also confused about if they use the recalculated GPA for the concurrent program as well, or just for the traditional.

This is the worst semester to apply (in terms of competitiveness) because there are double the amount of applicants. Everyone that applied for last semester was pushed to this one because of the virus, but good luck to everyone!

Also, my status changed from “under review” to “eligible” on UCF’s nursing portal today, which means decisions are definitely due by Friday.

It's just disappointing to me because I feel like I would be moderately competitive without this extra cohort applying, but now I honestly can't tell if I'm getting in or not ? I'm hoping for the best but I wouldn't be surprised if I had to apply next semester (which I'm fine with since we are in the middle of a pandemic).

My status changed to "eligible" yesterday as well!

I heard that about 300 people applied, which terrifies me ? and they only use the recalculated GPA for the traditional program; the concurrent looks at your overall, science, and other pre-req GPA. Wish they looked at the recalculated tho!

I put that I wanted to be considered for the traditional program as well, so hopefully if I can't get in the concurrent I can get into that program. I also applied for valencia's concurrent program
