Seminole Community College Nights/Weekend Schedule

Published

Hello All,

Does anybody going to SCC for nights/weekends classes and what is the schedule like? I have a son who will be in kindergarten by the time I hopefully get in to their Nursing program and I heard from some people who go there that they starts as early as 3pm. I want to know exactly what time the program starts everyday because I'm planning my time ahead since 3pm will conflict to my schedule because that's the same time that my son goes home from school and I won't be able or have anybody pick him up from school to go to his babysitter's house. His school is close by so school bus is not an option to drop him off and his babysitter doesn't drive. It's a long walk from school to his babysitter's house and I'm afraid for him to walk by himself. Anyone in the same situation? If so, how did you go around it? Thanks for your help in advance!

I believe at times they do start at 3. You might want to check the school's website or attend the nursing information session where they can answer all of your questions. Good luck!!

Thank you nursewannab10! I did attend the infoshare but didn't get much information. The powerpoint slides they presented at the infoshare is basically the same as the information they have online. It was just a waste of time for me to go there. They talked more of the LPN and other classes they are offering in healthcare than the RN program. I really hope I can get more info on the evening/weekends schedule so I can plan my time ahead of time.

You can email Molly Yanni and she'll be able to answer all of your questions. She's the one who did the info. session and is also the manager. Try looking at the school website to find her email address. Wish I was able to help you more! Good luck!!!
