Seizure

Hello all

I'm not a new nurse but I never worked with seizure patients before. Please I need help with seizure nursing note. For Example  you notice patients having seizure activities and you have MD orders to give midazolam nasal spray, how do you chart in progres not ? And also if patient not diabetic do you still check blood sugar?

Featured Replies

you would chart it like you would any progress note, just describe the events and interventions. Also, patient doesn't have to be a diabetic to check his or her sugar, checking the sugar can just be done as a baseline, like vital signs.
