Seattle University

U.S.A. Washington

Hi everyone. This is my first post and I must say I'm thrilled to have found this board. I wanted to ask if anyone had attended or knew someone who attended Seattle U for their BSN. I've already been accepted for this fall quarter but I'm still a little nervous. I had to choose between Seattle U and UW so I'm hoping that I made the right decision. If anyone is familiar with the program could you please give me some of your general impressions regarding classes, professors, clinical training, or anything else you can think of. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Nicki,

Welcome! I actually don't know too much about Seattle U's program, but I do know that UW's nursing program is number 1 in the country and its a very competive. UW's program is a lot cheaper too. I'm just curious why did you choose Seattle U? I hope I don't make you feel bad, but I think you should have chosen UW. My best friend graduated with her BSN from the UW and I did my undergrad at UW too. She really like the program and there were a lot of opportunties for jobs afterword since UW has their own hosptial, and affilated with Childrens and Fred Hutchinson. Although, seattle U is a great school too, but I don't think its in the top 10. The NClex pass rate is a 100 percent at uw.
