Hi everyone!
I am submitting my application for the Seattle U APNI (Advanced Practice Nursing Immersion) Program 2020 and thought it'd be useful to start a forum where we can help each other out, talk about the application process, get to know each other, etc..
Feel free to comment and GOOD LUCK to my fellow applicants! Also, if you have any experiences regarding this program (current student/alumni, faculty) it would be great to hear your thoughts on it.

Hey!
Thanks for starting this thread, I did see another one for this year floating around as well. Congrats on submitting your application! I submitted mine about 2 weeks ago so now its just the waiting game for the both of us ?
Which pathway did you apply to?
I applied for the FNP route. What about you?
Ah good luck! I applied to the adult-gero primary care track!
Thanks, I'm looking forward to hopefully getting an interview. Also, I have a question about the application. When I go to the "track my application" page on Seattle U's website, it takes me to a page that shows green checkmarks that my letters of rec were submitted and a recent activities page that shows I submitted payment for the application. Is this similar to what you can view? There's nowhere that states my application is complete which worries me that it wasn't successfully processed.
Yeah, that's all I can see for now as well. I'm sure they still are processing applications too. So I think you should be fine!
Sidenote: I actually just checked my email and got a message that said that my application has been fully processed and has been forwarded to the academic department to be reviewed.

My application was submitted successfully! I talked to a Seattle U rep. on the phone and learned some more about the process. Applications must be first reviewed by Seattle U faculty before being forwarded to the review board. They said it usually takes about a week for applications to be reviewed initially which is why it took beyond the initial due date for me to hear back about it.
Time to wait until January/February ?
Sooo what do you do for work currently?

Hello,
Yes, there is another chat floating around, but two cant hurt!
I submitted my application to the PMHNP track on the first which has been processed and forwarded.
I have heard that psych is the least popular track, so I suppose that is good news for me in terms of competition. Patiently waiting....
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!
@rachel.leone haha yes that does seem like good news. Hopefully no one else applies to psych so you're guaranteed a spot ?
@Dylan Miller that is the hope ? ?

Hi All! I'm in the APNI program right now! Midwifery track. There are a million things I wish I had known before starting the program, so if you have any questions, feel free to reach out! Fingers crossed for you all, and if you don't hear back soon, it's worthwhile checking in with the school - my interview invite email got lost and I didn't know until the acceptance date, when they told me my application had been closed for not responding. ?
You all got this!
