  1. @ChemGirl713 don't worry too much! I didn't interview until March, and lots of people were interviewing during the big snow storm in February. However... They only inform you via a single email, and last year multiple interview invite emails just never made it to recipients (including me). So, if February 15th roles around and you've heard nothing at all, it's worth finding someone to check in with, just to make sure you didn't miss an email or something. Honestly, getting info to students is not SU's strong suit! ?
  2. Hi @edilaaay! I'm in the CNM APNI program right now (currently avoiding studying for psych theory as a matter of fact...) The CNM interviews weren't too terrible. Our faculty is super kind, and really just want to know about you. Make sure you understand what a CNM really is (as opposed to other types of midwives and OBs) and the scope of practice for an ARNP. Other than that, be ready to talk about experience you have supporting people, in whatever capacity that means for you! We're all about the nursing role here, and a big part of that is building other people up. ? Our midwifery track has 13 people this year. It's definitely one of the most competitive tracks (second to FNP) because there are so few CNM DNP programs in the country. We have people from all over! Good luck! You'll do great!
  3. Hi All! I'm in the APNI program right now! Midwifery track. There are a million things I wish I had known before starting the program, so if you have any questions, feel free to reach out! Fingers crossed for you all, and if you don't hear back soon, it's worthwhile checking in with the school - my interview invite email got lost and I didn't know until the acceptance date, when they told me my application had been closed for not responding. ? You all got this!
