Seattle University - Advanced Practice Nursing Immersion (APNI) Summer 2025

Hi everyone!

I decided to create a new forum for everyone who applied to the APNI program for the Summer 2025 term. I applied for the FNP specialty and am still waiting to hear back about whether I got an interview or not.

Does anyone else have any updates?

Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AG-ACNP)

Family Nurse-Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (FNP or AGNP)

Certified Nurse Midwifery (CNM)

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP)

Hello! Thanks for making this post. I'm also APNI FNP and haven't heard back for interviews yet. It seems historically interviews have come out between mid January and the 2nd week of February. I think with the deadline extension, it's probably still too early. At least that's what I'm telling myself.

That is a really good point, I didn't think about the deadline extension. I have been checking my emails over & over again, haha!

Did you apply to any other programs other than SU?

Hello! Glad someone made this post, thank u. I recieved an interview invite yesterday for the acute care specialty. The options they gave me were all on Feb 2nd or 8th. Good luck to both of u!

Hey! I also applied for direct entry, APNI, and I have not heard anything yet either. Hoping to hear soon; I was wondering if people got notification if they *didn't* get an interview.

No, you will just get an update on your profile with an offer for waitlist or a confirmation that you were not chosen. Without an interview, I'm not sure what the chances are of getting off the waitlist.

Which track did you apply for?

I applied for FNP. Still crossing my fingers though.

Same. I don't think it's too late even though acute care has sent invitations. From what I can tell, each department is separate and FNP is the largest group. I will be a lot less hopeful after next Friday.

Congratulations! That is so awesome. You will have to post about how your interview goes! 🙂

I applied to the OHSU direct-entry DNP program & then a few MSNs up & down the west coast haha, but doing a DNP program is definitely my top choice!

 

Also- I just heard back about an FNP interview and was able to schedule mine for February 1st! I'm sure you will hear back soon! 🙂

I ended up getting an interview invite yesterday evening! Doing mine Feb 1. Good luck to you and others!
