I didn't see a thread for Seattle U APNI  program - Summer 2024 so I made one! with interview invitations being sent out within the next few weeks, how is everyone doing during this wait?

I am doing OK, super nervous about getting invitations, I hope it very soon, because it is nerve wracking.

I am a nervous wreck, LOL. I am checking my email/portal at least 10x a week. I am soooo nervoussss. I contacted a former candidate though, and she was so sweet and helpful. Really reassured me but also, intimidated me even more because when interviews do come around the questions they ask.

Same LOL. I haven't found any helpful tips on any other threads though, wby? Seattle University is the only program I applied to. I was originally going to go the PA route, but there isn't a lot of opportunity for (Psychiatric) PA's. How about you??

I have applied to another just in case. But this would be my first choice if I get accepted to the program. I chose FP route because I be more abroad to help then in specific area.

I applied to Emory, Vanderbilt (both for their direct entry MSN NP programs) and Thomas Jefferson (accel. BSN with admission to MSN NP after grad).

got into Emory and TJ still waiting to hear back from Vanderbilt

interview tips from other threads:

"really know the NP role you are trying to pursue and how your story and values align with Seattle U's mission"

"tell them the story of your life and how it relates to your journey to nursing and your track. develop a few story-type examples that can answer many different types of interview questions, identify important stories from your life that highlight your values/strengths/areas of growth."

"show your commitment to serving vulnerable populations and to combating social injustice, they want dynamic candidates with strong morals"
