When I was applying, I found that the University of South Alabama had a BSN to DNP program for FNP which gave you a masters after 2 years and did not require you to reapply if you wanted to take some time off in between the MSN and the DNP. I believe the entire program was 4-5 years total. I have not researched if this is still true.
If you are looking for a short program, going straight through to DNP is probably not the way to go (often a 5 year process depending on school). There are several MSN programs that are around 2 years, but you probably can't expect to finish any sooner than 1.5 years going full time.

I am looking for an FNP degree (Masters) that is online and short ( I can go full time and focus) Is there one that gives you your MSN as you continue towards your DNP? Does anyone have a list they have researched they would share?
