Scrubs Seem Cut Different The Past Couple of Years

I really like some of the new material which is stretchy a bit or has some sheen to it.

I think, though, that they are cut ALOT different. Tops are shorter in length, tighter in the chest, as well as the hips.

I don't notice it as much with pants, but I have always had it be a thing where if pants are big enough to fit me in the hips and thighs, they will be really baggy in the waist, sometimes to where i have to actually roll the waistband. And when i lean forward, they will gap in the back, ugh.

Why doesn't someone invent scrub pants that fit like yoga pants? Tight enough for the waist to stay up, and stretchy enough to fit bigger hips and thighs?

I am about to go on a sewing adventure and try to make some.

I can't stand my shirts to be too short or snug, either.

Has anyone found a brand they really like? I am a bigger woman, 5'7" and a size 20 or so. It is hard to find something comfortable. I have given up pretty much on looking cute since i have gotten heavy and now being in my 40s. But i would just like something to fit decent and not be skintight or falling off.

I used to be the same, but in my 40's and past my figure has changed. Now all weight gathers around my middle instead of all over. Stupid menopause!

Med couture makes yoga style scrub pants. I'm smaller stature and I feel like the tops are actually pretty long. The yoga pant name is Freedom and they are super comfortable. The yoga band is super soft and the material of the pant is the stretchy soft kind that you mentioned. They are pricey but worth it.
