Scripps New Grad Nurse Residency August 2024

Starting a thread for the Scripps New Grad Residency Program that starts in August, good luck everyone! 

Has anyone heard how many new grads Scripps usually hires for each unit?

Received an email earlier today around 1pm that said my application was forwarded to the unit manager and just received an email 5 minutes ago saying they went with other candidates LOL. At least they're prompt about it.

I'm sorry to hear that. Is it for the same unit as the one you received at 1 pm?

Same thing happened to me. Received the email about my app being forwarded to hiring leaders then not even 8 hours later got the rejection

It was for La Jolla Med/Onc

I'm getting nervous because I completed my self-paced interview May 2nd and am waiting for an email invite to a live interview but haven't received anything yet. My application still says "Under Review", I know they sent out invites on Monday so I'm worried! Is anyone else in the same boat?

I received an email stating that my application is being forwarded to the hiring leader but have not received an invite for a live interview. I am not sure if anyone has received live interview invites.

Have you heard of anyone?

Yeah what I meant was people got emails saying their apps were forwarded to the hiring manager but I never got that email.

Gotcha. Which units did you apply to? Maybe they haven't reviewed all the applications for the unit you are interested in.

I applied for DOU and Surg acute, I said Scripps La Jolla and Green but open to all locations. I am a previous employee so I was feeling confident but now I don't know! 😕
