Scripps Health MCH New Grad August/September 2023

Hi everyone! 
I wanted to start a thread for us hoping to get accepted into the MCH specialty! Good luck!!

I don't know what any of it means LOL!! I was a Scripps employee for over a year but currently not internal. I volunteer at ucsd in postpartum and I've been doing that for a year. I am NRP and Basic fetal certified through AWHONN. I will have a BSN as well. Not sure if the initial review hasn't happened to me yet but I applied the day apps opened.

I am not sure at all if this is true for MCH, however I have a friend who is in OR at Scripps and he said they really only take internals for their program so that might be it ?

I didn't get an email either saying I was under consideration.  My taleo also says "accepting submissions" and "complete". What qualifications did some of your friends have? Do you know when we would be notified for interviews?

My friends have less qualifications than I do. I was a Scripps employee for a year in postpartum, I graduate with my BSN in Aug, I am advanced NRP certified and basic fetal monitoring certified from AWHONN. I have been volunteering in the NICU/PP at UCSD for over a year and I was a OB tech on L&D at Sharp Mary Birch. Not sure why I wasn't forwarded but.. you never know! I think the application said we would hear back 6/12-7/7 for interviews. Or that's the timeframe of interviews?

Are your friends that got an interview current Scripps employees? It was my understanding the interviews would be held 6/12-7/7! But I have no clue

Oh no they haven't gotten interviews yet! They just got the email that they were under consideration after initial review. I didn't get that email.

Has anyone heard anything from scripps? Right after I applied I was sent a link to do an on demand self-recorded video interview but ever since then I have not heard anything or gotten contacted for an interview. It still says the application status is active but I am getting worried.

I have not either. After the video interview I didn't get a status change. Not sure where they are at with contacting people.
