Scores on my HESI-Discouraged

I am feeling discouraged because I didn't do so well on the math section. At our school, you have to take Anatomy, Reading, Grammar, Vocabulary, and Math with Personality and learning skills. I got a 76% on anatomy, 88 on reading, 92 on vocabulary, and a 66 on math. :( I'm feeling so horrible because I want to get into the nursing program so bad but I feel like that score will ruin my chances. I have a total score of 80.4. I've got all A's in my core nursing courses except for a B in A&P 1 in the summer. I hate math and I wish I could be smarter in it. I wish that so bad!

don't get discouraged. most schools don't look JUST at the hesi scores, they look at a combination of things.

also, some schools will give you 2 tries for a test, have you checked?

if you really want to improve your grade, I suggest buying the recommended hesi study book, and working on that daily.

I redid my whole book 3 times

its important to review the matieral over and over, looking at what I got wrong, and looking at what I got right, and why .. not just checking of tick marks and x's. look at your answers, and understand what they are asking.

Go to khan academy. Great resource for improving your math and sciences!! Also make sure you sign into your evolve account and get your hesi remediation! good luck!
