while I am taking pre-requisites for the RN program at school, I wanted to start working in the health care field to gain experience. I am an older student (in my 30s), and the only experience I have in the hospital was being a volunteer 15 years ago.
I am planning to take
1. anatomy w lab
2 physiology w lab.
I was also thinking of taking stats. I was wondering, is it possible to take both science classes w labs AND getting the CNA or certified medical assistant cert?
I dont have any kids and my prior work experience is in business.
Thanks!

The CNA program is pretty easy, I did 3 lab science classes and pre-calc in the same semester and it almost killed me. I was not working at the time and got A's but I swore off ever doing more than 1 lab science class at a time. Condensed summer or winter break classes are a good way to get those science classes done as you can just focus on one class at a time.
How were you able to manage your time wisely by doing 3 science classes (w labs) and a pre-calc and get your CNA certification at same time? And still get all A's????KUDOS TO YOU!!!! I applaud you. Please share with me your secret.
I only have 2 science w lab classes and im having anxiety over it.

It's possible, but it can be very tough! I took microbiology on campus and A&P online. At my school almost all the science classes overlap in one way or another (lecture or lab), so it's very rare to be able to take more than one at a time on campus.
