- Undergraduate 3.0 GPA or higher
- Undergraduate Science GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Graduate GPA of 3.0 or higher (if applicable)
- Undergraduate or graduate biochemistry course within 5 years of application
- Undergraduate or graduate level statistics course
- Competitive GRE scores
- Three letters of recommendation
- Current unrestricted RN license

- BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications
- Program Faculty interview
- At least one year RN experience in critical care setting in military or civilian hospital
- Critical care experience must be obtained in critical care area within the United States, its territories, or US military hospital outside of the U.S.
- Examples of critical care areas may include but are not limited to: Surgical Intensive Care, Pediatric Intensive Care, and Neonatal Intensive Care
- RN's with experience in other areas may be considered

- Undergraduate 2.7 GPA or higher, Undergraduate Science GPA of 2.7 or higher, If applicable, Graduate GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Grade of B (3.0 on a 4.0 scale) or better in an undergraduate or graduate level Pathophysiology, Physiology, or Biochemistry within the past 5 years (accredited program)

PMHNP as outlined in FNP/WHNP criteria including 2 years of experience in a behavioral health setting preferred but not required

- Nurses from uniformed services have priority for admissions; nurses employed in federal agencies eligible for admission

- Current RN license or eligibility for licensure in any of the 50 states/territories

Accreditation
The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accredited the Masters of Nursing Science and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees at Uniformed Services University.
The Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) fully accredited the Nurse Anesthesia Program and is a 36-month Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program.
