Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (LPN-BSN)
This is an option that many colleges of Nursing do not offer. This is available through the University of Phoenix at the Arizona and California campuses. The course is designed with the working nurse who has a family in mind. You can work on your education one class at a time, enhancing your knowledge and boosting your career opportunities in the process. This enables you to keep up with your work and family commitments while continuing to pursue your professional goals. After completing the course, the student will have the knowledge and networking skills to leverage their career opportunities. You will be confident that you are learning the skills you will need to offer your patients the high-quality care they deserve.
No worries about the accreditation process of this program. The LPN to BSN program has accomplished the CCNE credits to be sure you are an adequately trained nurse. At the end of the program, LPNs who are trained for their RN will be eligible to take the National Council of State Boards of Nursing Licensure Examination (NCLEX).
Our CCNE accredited program is designed in conjunction with industry experts in order to ensure that you develop the career-relevant skills you need to be a more effective nurse. You'll delve into vital topics such as the nurse's role in safe medication administration, physical assessment and pediatric nursing. It also helps you prepare for the National Council of State Boards of Nursing Licensure Examination (NCLEX®).
RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN-BSN)
This program is for current practicing RNs who wish to develop their knowledge and obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). The program will train the RN to expand his or her knowledge through research and theory of evidence-based practice. It also helps develop in-depth critical thinking and judgment, which is what healthcare needs from nurses.
This program is also accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), training the RN to excel in the field.
