The University of Detroit Mercy offers extensive nursing programs through the McAuley School of Nursing (MSON), designed to graduate culturally competent, caring healthcare professionals who can meet society's rapidly evolving needs.
Curriculums are grounded in the Mercy and Jesuit traditions, promoting the learner's spiritual, social, and psychological growth. Students are trained to provide contemporary clinical care, make critical decisions within an ethical framework, communicate effectively, and design and coordinate health promotion, risk reduction, and illness and disease management strategies for clients, families, and communities.
