Stevenson University, originally founded as Villa Julie College in 1947 by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, has grown from a one-year medical secretaries program into a comprehensive university in Maryland. The university expanded to the scenic Green Spring Valley and opened the 200,000-square-foot Kevin J. Manning Academic Center in 2016. This facility, home to the Sandra R. Berman School of Nursing and Health Professions, reflects Stevenson's commitment to healthcare education, offering advanced resources and training for aspiring professionals.

Mode of Learning
- The traditional BSN program is offered in person on campus, while the RN-BSN program is fully online and can be completed in just 15 months, providing maximum flexibility.
- Both the MSN and RN-MSN programs are also online, allowing students to balance their education with personal and professional commitments.
