Programs of Study
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Traditional BSN Program: This program is for students fresh out of high school with no bachelor's degree. Students are introduced to nursing education for the first time with the added red blend of classroom instruction and clinical experience.
- Accelerated Second Degree BSN: This program is designed for students with bachelor's degrees in another discipline who want to fast-track their pursuit of a BSB in a condensed time frame.
- LPN to BSN Program: This program is for Licensed Practical Nurses who want to advance their skills and personal growth by obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- MSN With No Concentration: This track is for Bachelor-prepared RNs who wish to advance their education without specializing.
- MSN - Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner: This program prepares students to become certified as Adult-Gerontology Primary Nurse Practitioners. Certification can be obtained from the American Nurses Credentialing Centre (ANCC) or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners when completed.
Salem State also offers a graduate certificate in Nursing Education.
