Academic Programs
Undergraduate
Bachelor of Science in Nursing — BSN
Successful graduates are eligible to sit for the NCLEX-RN examination in the state of their choice after graduation.

- SAT and ACT scores are required only for nursing students and homeschooled students and are optional for high school students and transfer students who have graduated from high school within the past five years

RN to BSN (online)
This RN to BSN degree completion is designed for the RN that holds a diploma or associate degree. There is also an option for nurses to go for their MSN in the accelerated, fast track RN to MSN (students who have achieved a 3.0 GPA).
There is a requirement of 128-semester hour credits through a combination of transfer, enrollment, and challenge examinations. Nurses that hold a nursing diploma will receive 30 credits in transfer for the lower-level BSN nursing courses. Of the required hours, students must earn thirty-two semester hours through Saint Joseph's College.

Graduate
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) - Online
The online MSN is available to be combined for MSN/MHA or MSN/MBA dual degrees.
Graduate or post-graduate certificates are also available and offered in education, administration, and an FNP Post Master's Certificate program. Specializations currently offered include nursing administration, nursing education, and family/individual across the lifespan nurse practitioner.
RN to MSN Fast Track
Online RN to BSN nursing students are the only students that can apply to the MSN-Administration or Education fast tracks. In order for a student to request a change of track to MSN-Family Nurse Practitioner, all MSN core courses must be completed with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
FNP Post Master's Certificate
This is a 28-credit program. The program prepares the graduate to sit for the national FNP certification exam. To ensure students have met various skills and role competencies, there is a required minimum of 600 supervised clinical hours that must be completed in the student's geographical location. The Nurse Practitioner specific courses are the only ones needed for post-MSN FNP certificate completion.

Program Specializations
Administration - 45 credits
This administrative track is able to be combined with the MHA or the leadership MBA as a dual degree. Course content in the administration specialization focuses on advanced administration, contemporary issues in nursing administration, strategic planning, financial management, and quality performance.
Education - 42 credits
Course content in the education specialization focuses on curriculum development, didactic and clinical teaching methods, evaluation in nursing education, and population-focused care.
Family/Individual Across the Lifespan Nurse Practitioner - 48 credits
Course content in the family nurse practitioner specialization focuses on primary care, young and middle-age adult, children and women of childbearing years, and the older adult. Applicants must have earned a BSN from an accredited institution and currently hold an active, unrestricted RN license.
Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner - 48 credits
The AGACNP track is designed for nurses interested in providing acute care for acutely and chronically ill patients that focuses on the adult life stages.
