Founded in 1966, Marcha Fuerst North-West College (NWC) is operated by Mitchell Fuerst, continuing the Fuerst family's involvement in allied health since the early 1950s. NWC prepares students for career growth through professional and short-term courses. The college features clean, well-equipped facilities designed to create a welcoming environment. Admission is based on the student's potential for success, regardless of race, color, or creed. The School of Nursing at the West Covina campus, named after Marcha Fuerst, is renowned for its Bachelor of Nursing and Vocational Nursing programs.

The RN to BSN program is available at the Northwest College campus. The Vocational Nursing and Associate of Arts in Nursing programs are offered at other campuses: Anaheim, Long Beach, Pomona, Riverside, San Diego, Van Nuys, and West Covina, as well as at Glendale Career College in Glendale, CA.
NCLEX Pass Rates
The Marcha Fuerst School of Nursing students reached a noteworthy milestone in 2023 when they passed the NCLEX licensing examination with a pass rate of 70%.
