Students are able to complete the VN theory courses online. All clinical courses will be held on Saturday and Sunday of each week during the semester.

LVN to ADN - Transition to Professional Nursing

This is an accelerated 12-month LVN to RN Transition program. Students utilize the Leo & Mabel Scott Health Science Center for clinical learning experiences.

Transition students' admission requirements are the same as new Associate Degree in Nursing students. Documentation of current licensure as a vocational/practical nurse is required.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Pathway

The ADN program at NCTC created partnerships with major universities to offer students the opportunity for a smoother transition from ADN to BSN through the Consortium for the Advancement of Baccalaureate Nursing Education in Texas (CABNET) agreement.
