Mott Community College, officially known as Charles Stewart Mott Community College or MCC, is a public community college in Flint, Michigan. Named after the influential politician, businessman, and philanthropist Charles Stewart Mott, the college has a rich history dating back to 1957. Initially part of the University of Michigan-Flint, the institution became independent with the 1969 vote for county-wide support, evolving into Genesee Community College and later honoring Mott's legacy after his death in 1973. In recent years, MCC has expanded with innovative facilities such as the FabLab, the state-of-the-art Culinary Arts Institute that opened in 2019, and the Lenore Croudy Family Life Center, which supports student welfare and enhances the campus experience.

Hands-On Learning Experience

Students in the Nursing Program engage deeply with biological, physical, and behavioral sciences as the cornerstone of their nursing education. Upon completion, they are prepared to deliver comprehensive care across diverse patient populations, focusing on health maintenance and support through all stages of life, including times of illness, injury, or disability. The program prioritizes a patient-centered approach, equipping graduates with evidence-based practice skills, critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication essential for high-quality patient care.

The Associate of Applied Science in Nursing (AAS/ASN/ADN) program offers a thorough education for future nurses, requiring 70.5 to 72.5 academic credits.
