Las Positas College is situated in Livermore, California, approximately 40 miles southeast of bustling San Francisco. The 147-acre college campus is surrounded by rolling hills and vineyards, creating a peaceful and inspiring learning environment. Originally established as an extension center of Chabot College in 1963, it began by offering 24 classes and enrolling 810 students at Livermore High School and two other locations. Due to its rapid growth, the college expanded and relocated to Granada High School in Livermore by 1965.
