Undergraduate Programs


The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program is 4 years in length and prepares the graduate to take the NCLEX-RN exam to become licensed as a registered nurse.

The ACHIEVE Program is a special program for students who have other obligations, but have the evenings/weekends available to complete their BSN at the Bucks County Center in Newtown, Pa. and at the Main Campus. The lecture portion of the courses takes place in the evening hours and clinical experiences for day, evening, and weekend hours. The length of the BSN program is three years assuming prerequisites have been completed.

The Accelerated RN to BSN is a program for Registered Nurses who would like to the complete their BSN at a pace that fits their busy schedule. The RN to BSN program can be completed within 13 months.

Graduate Programs


Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)

The La Salle Main campus houses the classes for the MSN program. There are also classes held at Bucks County Center, Pennsylvania Hospital and Abington Hospital.

RN-BSN to MSN is designed for RNs to bring their undergraduate education to a graduate level. At the end of the program, the nurse will graduate with a BSN and MSN. The program is for nurses who have associate degrees or diplomas in nursing.

The RN to MSN Bridge program is designed for RNs who have a non-nursing bachelor's degree.  Applicants must have official copies of transcripts from nursing programs, colleges, and/or universities and a current RN license.

Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

This post-Master's program is designed for nurses who would like to take their degree to the terminal level of a DNP. The DNP program follows the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) Position Statement on Doctoral Education and The DNP Essentials and is delivered mostly online with immersion experiences three times throughout the program.

Options for part or full time enrollment are available. 1,000 hours of supervised, post-baccalaureate clinical practice in an academic program are required. Advanced Practice Nurses (CNS, CRNA, NP and Nurse Midwives) as well as other Master's prepared nurses may apply.

Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) - Anesthesia

Frank J. Tornetta School of Anesthesia at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery joins La Salle to offer the Nurse Anesthetist program.

This is a practice-focused doctorate with a strong clinical component designed for all health care environments providing opportunities for expert knowledge and skill development through completion of clinical hours and a DNP Scholarly Project. All La Salle DNP curricular plans are individualized and include at least 500 clinical hours in the program of study.

The Post-BSN curriculum plan is designed in accord with the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) Position Statement on Doctoral Education, The DNP Essentials and the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs.  The Post-BSN program is 51 months in length. Core, and advanced core courses are delivered fully online, including a yearly Immersion experience. After the first 24 months, Post-BSN students complete a 29 month clinical residency on-site at the Frank J. Tornetta campus, and a final DNP Scholarly Project. Upon completion of all degree requirements the student will be eligible to sit for the National Certification Examination to gain NBCRNA certification.
