As a student in the nursing program, you will benefit from a comprehensive learning environment featuring a state-of-the-art hospital laboratory. This facility includes advanced patient simulators with detailed vital sign monitors to replicate real-life care scenarios. The program also emphasizes practical experience through clinical rotations strategically integrated into the curriculum at local hospitals. This hands-on approach allows you to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world healthcare settings, ensuring you are well-prepared for a professional nursing career.

Mode of Learning 

The Registered Nurse (LPN-RN) program is offered at the Ramsey and Hackensack campuses as an in-person, entry-level program that provides an 18-month pathway for both day and evening students to earn an Associate Degree.

The Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program is also available at these locations, requiring 18 months for day students and 21 months for evening students, culminating in a diploma. Additionally, the Hackensack campus offers a Bilingual Licensed Practical Nursing Program, which is an in-person course taking 18 months during the day or 27 months in the evening, leading to a diploma.

Students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing can enroll in a 30-month day program at both the Ramsey and Hackensack campuses, also conducted in person.

NCLEX-PN Pass Rate

In the first quarter of 2024, 19 students took the state board of nursing NCLEX-PN exam, with only three failing, resulting in an impressive pass rate of 84.21%. 

Admissions at Eastwick College-Hackensack

Admissions at Eastwick College-Hackensack are conducted on a rolling basis, enabling students to apply and receive a timely response from their preferred campus. All applicants are required to undergo a personal interview with an admissions representative as part of the qualification process.
