Hands-On Learning Experience 

Nursing students benefit from state-of-the-art facilities for hands-on learning, including the Donald and Martha DeWees Nursing Simulation and Collaboration Hub in Doug and Nancy Hastad Hall, which features five simulation rooms with advanced equipment, debriefing pods, lecture space, and a large laboratory.

The Henke Nursing Center, located within the Otteson Theatre and the Humphrey Memorial Chapel and Art Center, provides a simulation lab, classrooms, a computer lab, and faculty offices. Additionally, Augustine Prep Academy offers a nursing simulation lab, classroom spaces, student collaboration areas, and faculty offices.

Mode of Learning 

The Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) is a dynamic two-year program based at the Carroll Nursing Center within St. Augustine Preparatory Academy in Milwaukee.

For those pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), a comprehensive four-year, on-campus program is offered.

Individuals with a non-nursing bachelor's degree can opt for the Master of Science in Nursing - Direct Entry, a 72-credit program completed over 20 months or five full-time semesters, featuring 8-week hybrid courses, hands-on labs, and clinical experiences.

The MSN Nurse Educator program begins each fall, featuring eight-week courses that blend online learning with weekly in-person classes. Graduates are eligible to sit for the Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) or Certified Nurse Educator Clinical (CNE-cl) exams through the National League for Nursing (NLN).

ADN-educated RNs can advance their careers with the RN to MSN Nurse Educator program, a 51-credit course completed over 20 months or five full-time semesters, beginning in the fall, designed to elevate their professional standing in the nursing field.

NCLEX Pass Rate

The 2023 nursing class at Carroll University achieved a remarkable milestone, with every student passing the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) on their first attempt, resulting in a 100% pass rate.
