The Jewish Hospital School of Nursing is recognized as one of the earliest institutions accredited by the National League of Nursing (NLN), and over the years, it has evolved into a college offering associate, bachelor, and graduate degrees in nursing and allied health programs. In 2005, the merger of Barnes College and Jewish Hospital's nursing programs formed the Barnes-Jewish College of Nursing and Allied Health, marking a commitment to innovation and excellence in healthcare education. Re-named Goldfarb School of Nursing in 2007, the institution continues to lead in nursing education, alongside esteemed healthcare partners, providing students with unparalleled exposure to diverse specialties and cutting-edge clinical experiences.

Partnership with Washing University's School of Medicine
Through the partnership with Washington University School of Medicine, students can gain significant clinical experience and access to their clinics alongside medical staff. For interprofessional development, students will also be able to interact with St. Louis College of Pharmacy and Washington University School of Medicine
Nursing Accreditation
Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and is also approved by the Missouri State Board of Nursing.
Modes of Learning
The traditional BSN program is conducted entirely in the classroom, providing a comprehensive and immersive educational experience. The master's program is structured as a hybrid, blending in-person and online learning to offer flexibility while maintaining high educational standards. This hybrid approach allows students to benefit from both the convenience of online coursework and the hands-on experience of in-person classes.
