Arkansas Tech University's Department of Nursing offers extensive curriculums to prepare students for professional responsibilities in various healthcare settings. The department provides all the necessary foundations for degree advancement and graduate study.
A distinctive feature is access to the nursing school's high-fidelity, virtual reality simulation, and skills lab. These facilities provide students with practical experience to help them apply theoretical knowledge in a controlled environment. Programs of Study
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Pre-Licensure Program: Designed for students who are beginning their nursing education.
- LPN to BSN Program: Designed for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) who wish to advance their education and career by obtaining a BSN.
- RN to BSN Online Program: Offers registered nurses (RNs) a seamless transition from an associate or diploma in nursing to a bachelor's degree. The RN to BSN program is 100% online, offers three annual admission cycles, and allows students to enroll in full- or part-time studies.

- Nursing Administration/ Emergency Management (NAEM): A flexible program that requires 39 credit hours for completion. It is designed to serve the educational needs of professional nurses pursuing administration, leadership, and emergency management in various healthcare settings. The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredits the program to ensure it meets the highest standards of nursing education.
